So the first day, we had those yummy ramen. And most of the time we eat rice balls and soba noodles from the convenient store. It's like like a mini Walgreens, only more food.
Saturday evening, Coach Yoko treated us to sushi, the real deal! This too was a tiny restaurant, except no vending machines. A live waitress greeted us when we walked in. The nine of us ate about $250 worth of sushi. Yup, Sushi is expensive everywhere. Check out all the amazing sushi we tried. It was well worth it knowing all the girls tried something new and enjoyed every morsel. Check out Tati's fish...she even sucked up the eye balls.

That's the size of the restaurant. Susan, Yoko and I set adjacent to the girls. I think there was another level upstairs. Not sure. |

Yum! |
On Sunday, after playing half a day and sightseeing half a
day, Coach Yoko took us to a restaurant
that specializes in tempura. We ate shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura and fish tempura. Sam said this was her favorite meal so far. She had three big shrimp tempura with rice. We really enjoyed our dinner and conversation with Coach Yoko, our personal body guard Tomo (aka Bruno) and his daughter Moeka (aka Mocha).
Right at this very moment, we are dining in Denny's. Once again, Sam is happy. She's going for pancakes and eggs and hot chocolate. Denny's also has soba, udon and salmon rice on the menu.
Enjoy the photos.
