Three words to describe Harajuku: crowded, stylish, and modern. We started off the morning by taking the train to an area in Tokyo where the "young people" hang out, eat food, and buy clothes from the many stores and shops lined up on the busy street. Everyone (especially the girls) was all dressed up in their cute little outfits that were stylish, but definitely unique. After roaming around for a while, we headed back to Nakamura High School where we met up with Coach Yoko's elementary school team to play some volleyball. They were probably the most adorable llittle girls you could ever meet, but don't let that fool you. They were little bundles of intensity on the court. In fact, they beat us our first game and played phenominally when we mixed up the teams a bit. Not only were they cute, but they were super sweet and friendly. After some schrimmages and pictures, we all had fun bonding and playing a friendly short court game with our new friends. When it was time to go, it was hugs all around and we headed to our penthouse suit on the 7th floor (aka: the library and the tea room to rest up for another day of adventures and volleyball .
